Order Processing
BOOK PURCHASING
Send us a list of books you require and we will source out the highest quality
used and new books at the most competitive prices. If you are satisfied with our
quote, all we need to process your order is one of the following:
(1) Board Purchase Order
(2) Local School Purchase Order
(3) Letter of Intent to Purchase the Materials
(4) A completed BookSwap order form.
Payment
BookSwap accepts payment directly from client schools by petty cash,
cheque, visa, mastercard or school board cheque. Invoices and or
packing list will accompany all deliveries.
Delivery
We offer complimentary ground shipping (some restrictions apply)
and will send the books to the specified address upon receipt
of your Purchase Order/confirmation. Rush orders may require
a delivery fee. Orders for titles that are in stock at the time of your
order will be shipped within 72 hours from the confirmation date.
SELLING BOOKS
Send us a list of books you have in surplus, indicating the condition
and quantity, and we will assess their value. We will then do one of the
following:
(1) Offer to purchase the books upfront if there is an immediate need. We will
send you a cheque once the books have been physically received
and graded.
(2) Offer to take written inventory of the books and contact you at a
later time if a demand for them arises.
(3) If there is no re-sell value, decline to take them or occasionally
agree to receive them for recycling purposes only.
Pick-up
We will pick up your books for free. All you have to do is
let us know:
(1) How many boxes there will be for pick-up.
(2) Where they can be picked up, including the exact location, i.e. front office
later time if a demand for them arises.
(3) If there is no re-sell value, decline to take them or occasionally
agree to receive them for recycling purposes only.
